Profile
I have lived in Newtown and the surrounding area all my life. I went to Penygloddfa Primary School and Newtown High School.
I was lucky enough to get a job at Newtown High School in 2012, working in digital services, governance, communications and pupil engagement. I also serve as the elected staff governor.
Working with, and being a young people has given me a valuable insight into the essential contribution that young people can make and I believe their contributions are vital to the future and success of our town. I am especially interested in digital engagement and how we can have a conversation with the all residents, whatever their age, via alternative and modern methods.
I believe that our Town Council has an important role in securing services which otherwise may be lost from our area and I am looking forward to getting started.
