Tidy Newtown Spring 2026
Tidy Newtown Week 16-20th March is a weeklong series of litter picks and community activity across Newtown. Organised by Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council and supported by Keep Wales Tidy and Powys County Council, local residents are invited to come along to get involved in looking after Newtown.
Celebrations of Newtown 2026
The upcoming ‘Celebrations of Newtown’ awards event taking place on Wednesday 25th March celebrates and honours individuals, groups, and organisations that have made significant positive contributions to Newtown and its surrounding areas over the past year.
Newtown Food Festival 2026
The 12th annual Newtown Food Festival will return in 2026 on the 5th and 6th September 2026. Featuring over 60 local and international food and drink producers, live music across genres, chef demonstrations, a dedicated children’s village, and free family entertainment in Town Hall Grounds.
