The much-awaited Safari Supper is making its grand comeback, inviting Newtown residents and visitors alike to embark on a delightful gastronomic adventure. Organised as part of the renowned Newtown Food Festival, this year’s Safari Supper promises to be an extraordinary experience, celebrating the fusion of music and food in the heart of Mid Wales.
On Thursday, 3rd August 2023, starting at 6:15 pm from the iconic Town Clock in Newtown, participants will be treated to a mouthwatering tour of three distinctive eateries in Newtown.
The concept of the Safari Supper is simple yet delightful: attendees will enjoy different courses at three handpicked restaurants and cafes, each showcasing their culinary expertise. With three diverse venues participating in the event, attendees are promised an evening of indulgence as they savour a starter, main course, and dessert, each meticulously crafted to please the palate.
The feast begins at 9 Thai, a restaurant known for its authentic Thai flavours and warm ambiance. Next on the itinerary is the renowned Hummingbird restaurant, where guests will be served the main course. Finally, the delightful culinary journey concludes at Cafe Glitz, where attendees will indulge in a mouthwatering dessert and coffee to satiate their sweet cravings.
The Newtown Food Festival has limited the Safari Supper event to just 20 individuals to ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for all participants.
