Short Stroll 17 Mochdre Industrial Green Lunch

This walk starts towards the end of the industrial estate on Heol Ashley on the footpath next to Actia UK Ltd., unit 81.  This is just past the entrance to Nidec and CellPath and after Gareth Pugh Steel Framed Buildings, all of which the walk also passes.  From Heol Ashley you will see the well signed footpath on the left. Follow this path until you come to a pair of wooden gates on the right at the entrance to an unpaved footpath.  Take this path between two hedges and into the wood and continue through the wood until you reach the end of the hill, Black Hall Hill.  Follow any of the paths to the end of hill, they all meet up at the end.  At the end, go down the steps, over the stile and come down on to the road, Glyndwr.  Turn left and turn first left again into Powys.

Follow this road until it reaches the bigger road, Plantation Lane. Turn left on Plantation then left again following the sign to Ysgol Cedewain School.  Ignore the slightly earlier road, Pine Court.  Follow the path and fence past the school and around to the right to the end of the school car park where you will see the paved footpath between fences on your left.  When this path meets another path (behind Nidec) turn right.  At a T junction of paths turn left to continue following the fence.  At the road continue straight ahead till you come to a T junction with Heol Ashley, at Links Electrical. Turn left here and follow Heol Ashley back to the start of the walk.
