Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council is pleased to help publicise the upcoming second meeting of the Newtown Town Partnership. Acting Chair, Cllr Chris Jones, extends a warm invitation to all Town Partnership members to the second partnership meeting at Parkers House Restaurant and B&B on Tuesday 30th January 2024. The event will kick off at 6:00pm, and attendees are encouraged to arrive by 5:30 pm. The meeting is expected to conclude by 7:30pm, with tea and coffee provided by Parkers.
The meeting will primarily focus on nominating and voting for committee members to represent each sector in the partnership. Two representatives each will be elected from community/charitable organisations, the business community, and local authority bodies.
Acting Chair Cllr Chris will provide an update on the completion of the initial phase of setting up the Town Partnership, emphasising budgets, projects, and the ongoing support until the end of March. Plans for becoming an independent body will be discussed.

· Nuisance birds/pest control
· Poor environment on Vastre Industrial estate.
