Following the announcement of the death of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the Town Council has implemented its protocol for the death of a senior person of state, which was approved by Full Council in September 2019
One of the provisions is that council and committee meetings are cancelled until the day after the funeral.
The funeral of the Duke is on this coming Saturday afternoon therefore, the Services Committee meeting which was scheduled for this evening is cancelled.
