Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council is proud to announce the Autumn Litter Picks, running from Monday 20th to Saturday 25th October 2025, as part of the ongoing Tidy Newtown initiative.

Following the success of our spring campaign, this autumn we’re once again inviting residents, local groups and councillors to come together to help keep Newtown clean, green, and welcoming for all.

What is Tidy Newtown?

Tidy Newtown is a community-led initiative focused on improving the cleanliness and safety of our town’s public spaces. By tackling litter and waste in both urban and rural areas, we aim to build a stronger, more connected community and protect our environment for future generations.

This campaign is delivered in partnership with Powys County Council Housing Services and Keep Wales Tidy, ensuring a coordinated and sustainable approach to community clean-up efforts.
