Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council is pleased to announce that the deadline for applications for its Tourism Event Grants has been extended to Friday 16th January 2026.

The Council recognises the vital role that annual events play in strengthening community spirit, attracting visitors, and boosting the local economy. To support this, grants of up to £2,000 are available to help organisers cover essential costs and ensure these events continue to thrive year after year.

Who can apply?

-Groups or organisations
-Events with 100+ attendees
-Annual events (at least in their second year)
-Events that attract visitors from outside the town

There is one application round each year, and this extended deadline applies to events taking place in 2026.
